Dear Customer,

we would like to kindly inform you that Pekao Faktoring Sp. z o.o. takes special care to protect the privacy of both current and potential Customers using our website. Thus, we provide general information on the principles of processing by Pekao Faktoring Sp. z o.o. of information about visitors to our Company’s websites (www.pekaofaktoring.pl and www.plynnosciomat.pl).

Administration of personal data

In compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR), Pekao Faktoring Sp. z o.o. based in Lublin, 32b Tomasza Zana Street informs that the company is the Administrator of the personal data provided by you in the dedicated contact forms (hereinafter: Pekao Faktoring or Administrator).

The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Supervisor, who can be contacted at the above-mentioned address of the Administrator’s registered office or via e-mail at: daneosobowe@pekaofaktoring.com.pl.

How does Pekao Faktoring use my personal data?

Pekao Faktoring’s websites collect and process only data that will be used to respond to requests addressed to us, for the purpose of providing information about our products and services and marketing our own products.

The personal data you disclose in the form is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. for the realization of the legitimate interest of Pekao Faktoring as an administrator in the form of establishing and maintaining contact with customers and potential customers. However, in order to be able to provide you with details related to Pekao Faktoring’s offer via the email address or telephone number provided, it is necessary to obtain your consent for this form of communication.

Pekao Factoring processes the personal data you disclose through the contact application form only until we respond to the request addressed to us, and thereafter for the period necessary to secure any claims related to the response provided. After this time, your submissions are deleted or anonymized, thus permanently stripped of any information that could directly or indirectly identify you with the recorded submission.

Completion and submission of the contact form found hereby on the site is on a voluntary basis, but necessary in order to make the contact with you that you expect by submitting the questionnaire.

Your personal data will not be used in automated decision-making, including profiling.

Who can access the personal data I have disclosed?

All personal data collected by Pekao Faktoring will not be disclosed to any other person or entity unless:
  • this is required by applicable law; or
  • you give Pekao Faktoring your prior consent, in which case Pekao Faktoring may disclose your data only for the purposes indicated in the consent and only to those entities that you have authorized to access them; or
  • an appropriate entrustment agreement will be concluded to guarantee the protection of your rights and privacy.
At the same time, we inform you that your personal data will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.

What rights do I have in connection with Pekao Faktoring's processing of my personal data?

At the same time, the Administrator informs you of your right to access your data and to correct, modify or object to its processing. You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your data and the transfer of your data in cases where there are relevant circumstances provided for by the RODO. Furthermore, you have the right to erasure of your data in case the purpose for which they were obtained has come to an end and the law permits it.

Use of cookies

Cookies (so-called “cookies”) are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored on the website user’s terminal equipment and are intended for use on the website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they come, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number. Pekao Faktoring uses cookies to collect information related to users’ use of the site and does not automatically collect any other information about the user. This activity does not use it to collect or process personal data. It is possible to disable the cookies function by means of appropriate configuration of the settings of the Internet browser used by the User.

On the website, cookies are used to create statistics that help understand how website Users use the websites, which allows improving their structure and content.

Depending on the purpose for which Pekao Faktoring uses the information collected from them, we distinguish two categories of cookies
  • basic – including technical and analytical, and
  • marketing – used for advertising purposes and profiling content displayed on websites.
Different types of cookies are used on the particular Pekao Faktoring websites:
  1. Technical cookies – their use is necessary for the proper operation of websites, they provide the ability to use the basic functions of websites and the security of these websites. Technical cookies do not collect any information about users for marketing purposes and do not record information about visited websites. They are used primarily, in order to:
    • ensuring the security of transactions on the Customer Zone and My Factor services,
    • maintaining the session, while visiting and logging in the Customer Zone and My Factor services,
    • to ensure that the website is displayed in an appropriate manner – depending on the end device on which it is displayed,
    • adjusting the content displayed on the website to the user’s selected preferences, e.g. selected language,
    • remembering the appropriate settings regarding the displayed content, depending on the consents previously expressed by the user of the website.
  2. Analytical cookies – their use is used to create statistics and analysis that help to understand how users use the websites, primarily to improve their structure and content, as well as to detect abuse, in particular they allow:
    • study statistics on website traffic and check traffic streams,
    • detect various types of abuse, e.g. artificial Internet traffic (bots),
    • limit certain marketing activities, among others, to protect users from spam,
    • measure the effectiveness of actions carried out on behalf of Pekao Faktoring, e.g. on external websites.
  3. Marketing cookies – their use is aimed at:
    • personalizing ads displayed on external websites based on users’ behavior on Pekao Faktoring our website services,
    • matching the content of ads emitted on web services,
    • matching the content of web services.
The user can access the collected cookies located on the disk or in the memory of the final device used to use the website by analyzing the content of cookies in the browser settings.

It is possible to disable the cookies function by means of appropriate configuration of the settings of the browser used by the User. However, please note that disabling the cookies function may cause irregularities or completely prevent the use of the site.

Cookies in connection with the operation of the websites are also used by entities cooperating with the Company – Google LLC, Facebook Inc and LinkedIn Corp. These companies have joined the Privacy Shield Framework program. Compliance with this program is considered to correspond to the issuance of a decision by the European Commission stating that a country provides an adequate level of protection for personal data under Article 45 of the RODO. We use Google Analytics, YouTube, Facebook Pixel and LinkedIn Pixel services, which legitimize their own privacy policies, to improve the operation of websites and manage its advertising: The websites may also use tools from Malta-based Hotjar Ltd. to better understand the user’s experience of visiting our websites, which allows us to operate the websites with User feedback in mind. Hotjar Ltd. uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about the behavior of Users of the websites and their terminal devices, such as in particular: their IP address (which is recorded and stored in anonymized form), device screen size, device type, information about the browser used, geolocation (country only) and preferred language. Hotjar Ltd. stores this data in a pseudonymized user profile. Both Hotjar Ltd. and Pekao Faktoring will never use this data to identify a specific User, nor will they aggregate this data with data about the User obtained from other sources. Hotjar Ltd. legitimizes its own privacy policy, available at www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy/. The User may, at any time, opt out of the creation of his/her profile, the storage of his/her data and the continued use of cookies by Hotjar Ltd. – including on other websites – using the form available at www.hotjar.com/policies/do-not-track/.

Can I opt out of acceptance of cookies?

Activities related to storing and sending cookies are handled by web browsers and are invisible to the User. Most browsers in use accept cookies by default. However, the user, can set the browser to reject requests to store cookies in general or selected cookies. This can be done through settings in the browser. Before you decide to change the default settings, however, remember that many cookies help you use the site more conveniently.

How to disable cookies?

Google Chrome

  1. Click the icon: Google Chrome Settings.
    The icon is located in the upper right corner just below the “X” button that closes the browser.
  2. Select Settings.
    After clicking on the icon, a panel with many items will appear. The settings item is located at the bottom of this panel.
  3. Run advanced settings by clicking on the link: Show advanced settings.
    After clicking on the setting button, the browser will open the settings page. I find the cookie setting in the advanced settings, and for this reason, go to it by clicking on the link at the very bottom of the settings page.
  4. Go to content settings.
    If you click on the Show advanced settings button, the advanced settings form will appear instead of the link. In the Privacy section, which is the first newly added section, you will find the Content Settings… button, which you need to press to change your cookie settings.
  5. Select the cookie handling mode that suits you.
    When you click the content Settings button, you will see a panel for changing the content display and cookie maintenance settings.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the menu button of FireFox.
    The icon is located in the upper left corner of the program screen and is orange in color.
  2. Select the Options item.
    When you click on the menu button, a panel with multiple items will appear. The Options item is located in the right column of the panel. You can directly click on this item or expand it and click on the Options item of the expanded menu.
  3. Change the option settings to the Privacy tab.
    When you click on the Options position, the advanced settings box of the browser will appear. Select the Privacy tab, which is located roughly in the middle of the set of tabs. The tab icon resembles a theater mask.
  4. Select the item “will use user settings”.
    After clicking on the Privacy tab, the cookie settings panel will appear. Under History -> Firefox: select “will use user settings” (the last item in the list).
  5. Uncheck the Accept cookies option.
    To disable cookies, uncheck the “Accept cookies” checkbox. This will disable cookies completely, unless you have records for specific websites in the exceptions panel.

Opera

  1. Click on the menu button of the Opera program.
    The button is located in the upper left corner of the program screen and is gray with the browser’s red logo partially displayed.
  2. Select Settings -> Preferences.
    To select this option, you can simply click the Ctrl+F12 buttons together. When you click on the menu button, a panel with many items will appear. The Settings item is almost at the very bottom of the menu. If you hover over the Settings item, you will see a submenu containing the Preferences… button in the first position. We click on the Preferences… button.
  3. Select the Advanced tab and then select Cookies from the menu.
    After clicking on the Preferences… box, the browser’s advanced settings window will appear. Select the Advanced tab, which is located on the last position of the tabs. After clicking on the tab, we will see a menu on the left side of the panel, where we select the item Cookies.
  4. Select the “Never accept cookies” checkbox.
    After clicking on the Cookies tab, we will see the Opera cookie management panel.

Safari

  1. Click on the Safari settings button.
    The button is located in the upper right corner of the program screen and has a standard settings icon (cogwheel).
  2. Select the Preferences entry…
    To select this option you can simply press the “Ctrl+,” buttons simultaneously. When you click on the settings button, a panel with multiple entries will appear. The Preferences… item is located at the bottom of the menu. Click on the Preferences… button.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
    After clicking on the Preferences… item, the advanced settings pane of the browser will appear. Then select the Privacy tab, whose icon represents the unknown identity of the user.
  4. Select the “Never” item.
    After clicking on the Privacy tab, we will see the Safari cookie management panel.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Internet Explorer settings button.
    The button is located in the upper right corner of the program screen and has a standard settings icon (pinwheel).
  2. Select Internet Options.
    When you click on the settings button, a panel with many items will appear. Internet Options is located at the bottom of the menu on the penultimate item. Click on the Internet Options button.
  3. Select the Privacy tab.
    After clicking on the Internet Options item, the advanced settings pane of the browser will appear. Then select the Privacy tab.
  4. Move the slider to the very top.
    After clicking on the Privacy tab, we will see the Internet Explorer cookie management panel. The selection can be made by moving the slider. The higher it is, the greater the security. The levels of security that are selected are described on the right side of the slider.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the “Settings and more” button of Microsoft Edge.
    The button is located in the upper right corner of the program screen and has a settings icon.
  2. Select the Settings item.
    When you click on the settings button, a panel with many items will appear. Settings is located at the bottom of the menu on the penultimate item. Click on the Settings button.
  3. Select the Cookies and site permissions tab.
    After clicking on the Settings item, the advanced settings panel of the browser will appear on the left side of the screen. Then select the Cookies and site permissions tab.
  4. Select Manage cookies and site data and delete them.
    After clicking on the Privacy tab, we will see the Microsoft Edge cookie management panel.

Other information

Pekao Faktoring Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, at the same time it warrants that the user’s rights under this document will not be restricted without the user’s consent. Any changes regarding the Privacy Policy will be published on this website.

Use of the Pekao Faktoring Sp. z o.o. website implies acceptance of this Privacy Policy. All information, advertisements and price lists posted on this site do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.
